How do you remove the interior door trim?
Hi,
In an in-going quest to improve my car audio does anyone have a diagram etc on how to remove the interior door panel from an f21? Thanks |

I may give this a go next week when I've got a few hours free. I've watched a video on youtube on how to remove the door card from the (E) 1 series but its already different as the (F) series has some torx screws around the edge of the door card.
I've just received this today... http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 And this is on order and due Monday.... http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 So hopefully they'll be quite useful in removing the trim parts without any damage. I'll post up as much info and photo's as I can to hopefully help other F series owners |

Use T20 torx screwdriver; totally 5 screws, 2 inside door handle trim cover, 1 inside door opener cover, 2 under door trim panel.
Unscrew them all then use removal tool to release the door trim panel from some clip natur and clamps (I started from the one near door hinge), basically only have to release one clip natur, then pull the rest one by one. You don't have to unplug anything since there's enough space for you to unscrew the speaker. |
