New car

After months of deliberating my new 3 door 125i is due in early May.
Spec v budget was a real challenge so M Sport plus package and sport auto seemed to tick most of the boxes oh and black panel as it was so cheap!
My question is whether to upgrade the exhaust as there have been numerous comments about sound of standard system.
I assume the M performance tail pipe finishers are purely cosmetic?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi,
The MPerformance exhaust is not for show. It changes the character of the car (only the sound part, it has no effect on the performance).
I installed it on my 125i. Before it was dull and quiet at low RPM. Now, I can hear and feel on my back (through the seat) when I accelerate. I've a big grin each time and it's been over 1 month now.

In conclusion, if you don't want a cruising car with the minimum noise, don't install it. If you like a little bit of sound in the cabin, I strongly recommend it.

Thanks for response I am very tempted. Did you fit it yourself? How easy is it?
