BMW F20/21 M-Sport Emblem (Japanese Market)

My latest mod, the Japanese Market exclusive M-Sport badge for the F20/21.

This Emblem only comes with BMW F20/21 M-Sport Models sold in Japan.

You can only buy this in Japan, it's an official BMW part # 90512326544.

Some ppl like it, some don't. I like it, as I miss having a side indicator per my previous BMW.

Many Thanks to "Moataz" for the placement measurements.

Just realized the Japanese market also put this emblem on the F30 M sport.

Well at least it's tasteful unlike some M badges I have seen around.

I think it's an Asian thing to have a lot of badges and styling and lights on the cars. In some cultures, it seems that the more, the better.

In my corner of the world, it seems more popular to remove badges to make the car look less cluttered. Just a cultural taste difference again, just like the hatchback/sedan issue.

I couldn't agree more. I think the lack of detail on that part of the wings looks a bit odd. I like your mod.

You have to buy it from the BMW Japan dealer. Or you can try online, I posted the part #, so that should help.

It costed about US$50.

Agree, I don't like so many badges personally but that side panel is missing something. Maybe I look at those 118i Sport version a lot.

Much better than the fake side louvres I saw on a 120d in a supermarket car park not so long ago.

I hope it's true that my post-July built 125i with M sport package will have the M badge on the sides and front, if not, I will search for it online. thanks.

Cool

Hahaha, this reminds me of my hunt for the badge. My M135i came without and seeing the F30 at the dealers with M-badge on the side, I really wanted that.

This is what it looks like now, pretty ident to the M135i Concept Car.

Part number for this, btw, is: 51148058881 Price was 60€ for both.

If it was on the concept, I wonder why it never made it to the production model.

The new F series X5 M50d has it. Wonder if it will make the LCI?

So according to realoem.com, that part number appears on virtually every car including the M135i, so whereabouts on the car is it?

Its going to be exactly there, where it is now.

In future all M-package configurations (not just M135i) will have it right where Urban Line or Modern or Sport would be located. BTW, really looking forward to the M235i

I don't think any UK model F20/F21 have side badges do they?
