good to know, at least that means they are not delaying the production for right hand drives only

Hi, i`ve been following the threads on here for a while now but this is my first post.

I'm ordering an M135i next week, and am curious to know what lead times have been given to those who have already ordered?

I'll be going for 3 door, Estoril blue, comfort pack, extra storage, and auto lights/wipers (shouldn't effect build time but I thought I'd let you know what I'm going for ). Currently in a 2.0d A3 black edition, and cannot wait to change! I`ll be so impatient once I order!

Thanks in advance.

If it helps I ordered my car on the 14th July, it is scheduled for wk38 build and and to be with the dealer round about the 10th October. Currently its status is confirmed for production.

I ordered mine a few weeks about
its in fact one of those back outs because of the delay (whoever that was switched to the 328i as expected)
so I took over his July production
dealer said I should expect it sometime in September
so the lead time should be just a couple of weeks

by the way is the 5 door version made in Germany?

So far as I know they are all made in BMW's vast plant at Leipzig in eastern Germany. I have the same info on my (5dr) car as Washy. Ordered around 18 July, build week 38, expected at the dealers 3 weeks after that.

You're going to love it!

I drove a colleague's A3 2.0T Sportback DSG for about 20min yesterday, and even my 118i completely blows it out of the water when it comes to the overall driving experience.

When I got back into my car afterwards, I smiled and thought "F@ck, I love this car!" I'm sure the sentiment will be much more extreme for you

Had an update from my delaer yesterday that the design of the alloy wheel has changed. Not sure if it is delaying deliveries at this point, but my dates hadn't moved.

I can't see a difference either. Any more information on the changes being made to the highlighted area? Thanks.

The cutout between the spokes has been filled a bit more. Very subtle but makes a whole new wheel i guess

I was at the HK BMW dealership yesterday to pick up my friends 1M and asked them about my M135i which I ordered in June 2012. Apparently one reason for the production delay is due to problems with the interior trims. No specific date for delivery was given but target was November 2012.

I placed an order last week and scheduled production in nov (only tentative). There is a vacuum of available production slot from sep till nov due to shortage of m sport parts (that's what I was told and the rim may be one of them).

Btw, the revised rim design does look quite different and feels like it is changing from a bikini to a t-shirt.

Do you have pictures of the new redesigned rims? Did they show you at the showroom.
