I just wanted to say that I took my new car last Friday on my birthday and that I am really really happy about my choice! I already fell in love with my new baby and I have done 350 km in three days.... I will post photos as soon as possible!

Thank you all! so it's Estoril blue (I fell in love from the first second), it has the 18" inches rims, of course the M Pack, the M brakes(huge difference), the connectivity packet with the USB, Bluetooth etc. , the light pack, the advantage plus pack that has xenon lights, parking sensors front and back on the screen and some other things that I don't remember, automatic gearbox, hexagon alumminium surfaces, the basic alcantara seats, mirrors that becoming darker with the light. I think those... I am not sure if there is sth that I forget. I am going to take photos today, so tomorrow I will post many of them

Very nice car! beautiful color and love the wheels!
I have just one question, a month ago I bought a 116i sport because the 116i M was not available. Is there any performance diference between the 116i sport and the 116i M?? |

No performance difference there. It is just the bodykit, the interior, the wheels and the suspension. The engine and gearbox are exactly the same.

To my knowledge, M Sport has better aerodynamics advantage than sport line. it has got black air vents in the front apron and much bigger front opening for cold air passing through intercooler which i think it feeds cooler air to the engine and produce slightly better performance. It's just my theory. correct me if i am wrong.

My thoughts exactly. In fact that was one of deciding factors for choosing an M sport. The standard trims have a bar across the lower grill where the intercooler is. M sport probably won't make much of a difference on cool days but might help a bit on really hot days. The cooler the air, the smaller the air particles, the more air particles you can fit in the cylinders, the more fuel you can then mix with it, the bigger the combustion you get.

about the performance and the engine cooling I can't really tell you because I have my baby for just 5 days even if I agree with pacoluca. the thing that I can tell you is that the car gets in the corners like train by having these huge tires... (245-35-18 back and 225-40-18 front). for more info you should wait some weeks when I will have 2-3.000 km and I will begin to play

The increased weight and front area from the wider/larger wheels will make the M-Sport slower in a straight line, not significant though.
It will corner faster, and I would much like to have the M Sport instead. My next one will be one I think. |

You can do like me. Select M-Sport, but discard the wheels that comes with it. I don't like runflats.

I wouldnt say that it takes corners like train , but its ok. Breaks are very efficient...I feel like similary (or more) efficient than my 335i ones. In regards to performance difference , the aerodynamics and wider front air duct doesnt really make a difference on the road...difference is still too small. The basic advantage of the mpack (apart from the appearance) is the suspension and the thicker swaybars. I find the suspension/roll/comfort to be an extremely nice combination considering the 18" rft wheels. Enjoy mate...you dont really need to break in these modern motors for so many km! Just drive smoothly for 500/700 Km so you have gearbox, tyres, brakes and diff to work a bit....then you can start the party.

I have already done 1200 km in one week going normal... but yesterday going back to home there were some nice turns that I took them with 180-190 km/h and the car was not moving at all and with no inclination :-)

there were "big" turns like the "parabolica" at the Monza circuit... and they are turns... when the car is changing direction, it's a turn. the short ones is not possible to take them fast yet because the car is new and I go with 2500-3000 rounds max and without the Sport mode and without changing the gears by myself..
