I went to my dealer today and he told me that retrofit headlights will be available in the end of July...they said that BMW annunced to all their dealers worldwide that all accesories, retrofit kit and M Retrofit packages will be available in a month.

By the way, the retrofit headlights will cost about 5,000 USD

But tbh: I am not 100% sure, that the F20 doesn't have that by default. I'm gonna check that.

-edit-
I just checked the pricelist: Over here it is listed as a feature coming with the headlight-washer.
my standard none xenon lights self adjust when i turn the car on- they tilt up and down to adjust for the right height just like my xenons on the old 320 did- so thats built in as standard now

EDIT: i've seen your follow up posts- and yes, i have two sliders- one for internal lights, and the other i guess is for adjustment? but never really looked- so will look when i get home

But the lights are probably only regulating based on your slider, not any suspension sensors. So you have manual adjustment, not automatic, which is one of the requirements for Xenon lights.

Exactly. As I explained, its just the electrical motor that is going through its startup-procedure, and then is adjusted from the inside.

Has anyone got any further information from their dealers on a zenon retrofit. I spoke to my dealer in Australia and he stated that he had heard no news about a forthcoming release?

Really pissed I did not order xenons

hello everyone!

I have been following this thread since a while, but I see no one has made any update for a long time!

I am may be planning to go to a second hand parts dealer (from crashed cars etc..) but I would like to know precisely which parts I would have to buy from him... (no need to speak about the headlight washers I do not care about them as far as they are in option here in Belgium).

Thank you in advance!

Precisely, only an authorised dealer can tell you. For example I know you need the headlights (as a complete unit, i.e. including bulbs, ignitors and ballasts) and the light switch. However, I do not know if you need to change the wiring and also if the light ECU needs to be changed or it can be programmed.
