They are 8x17" et35 BBS Le Mans replicas. I also added mud flaps now. Trying to go for the "old guy"-style, since I am 40+.

These are 17"?!?! Shows again: multipart wheels need to be at least 1" bigger than "normal" ones.

Oh and: Pics ooc or a bit shoped? And because I'm a hobby-dslr-abuser too: Cam/Glass?

The pictures are taken with Canon 1000D, 18-135iS, raw format and some minor adjustments when converting to JPG. No editing or highlighting.

If its looking just 50% as awesome in real life as it does on the pics, I SO made the right choice changing to Valencia Orange!

We get a lot of positive feedback on the color from people who see the car live. The paint looks more yellow where there is a lot of light on it, and more red where it is dark. This highlights the shape of the car. In a parking lot with all the usual grey/silver cars, it really stands out.

Ahhh seeing these M kits makes me angry.
Here the kit prices are not reasonable.

In my config the M Kit with 17" is less than 600€ more than Sport Line with styling 379. But all that basically is eliminated when you calculate shadowine and black headliner into the sport line, and then you still get all the M-goodies (bodykit, ride, all interior-parts).

That was my conclusion as well. The M-sport is good value for money, especially since the interior is so great that you don't need Dakota leather. And the body kit and all the small M-specific details make a fabulous looking car with a firm but not uncomfortable ride
@ove: My guess was BBS rims. A classy and sporty design. Love them

I am planning to subject the car to some autoX and light track duty next week. I am curious to see how it handles, and whether or not it is competetive. If it is, I will probably compete in the national autoX championship in September. The car qualifies for the slowest stock class.

Great photos of a good looking car - seen an M Sport in Valencia Orange at my local dealer a few weeks ago and was impressed as it looked much better in the metal than on paper!

Great color!
Eye-catching rims. However, IMO those rims match better to older bimmers. F20 design is more contemporary.

Bar the rims that just look completely out of place, Valencia Orange is a well chosen color for the BMW 1er and BMW X1. And the M Sport packet makes the new 1er really sporty looking.

I drove a Valencia Orange M135i for the second time and was impressed at how able the car is. It is not a 1M, but it is very close , say one step down from a 1M.

Now I have tested some autocrossing.
Pictures here from some of the cars that drove today:
https://plus.google.com/photos/10135...065?banner=pwa

I kept the 220 hp Mini and the even more powerful Nissan behind me most of the runs, but they both beat me by a small margin in the end. The E30s were a long way behind, despite 2.5 liter engines. I am quite pleased with the performance of the car, but it is slightly difficult to deal with the turbo lag.

Here is some video from car as well:
