snow flake symbol on the I-drive screen
Had a look in the manual, but cant figure it out. on the right hand side a snow flake symbol appears, but not first thing. i.e. start-up in morning isn't there but appears later on. Any idea?. Also ever so often the picture where the vents are flash blue on the screen, seems very bizarre.

If I understand correctly I believe it indicates you that outside temperature is lower than a certain threshold value.
In my case it shows in speed meter (black panel) the snow symbol as a warning and the temperature (several threshold values but 1st warning is at 3 degrees). |

Is the car in Eco pro mode and are you in the efficiency dynamics page that shows the battery being charged?
The snowflake on there means that the air conditioning settings are optimised . |

Been watching this screen all week now, I have the ED screen on the idrive, the one which shows energy being pumped back and all that.
When I start up first thing no snow flake, around 15 mins of driving on the right hand side a snow flake appears. Climate set with no AC on, and I get arrows showing on the idrive around the vents, very bizarre. |
