Again. It's pretty simple. I know you don't like it, but so far, there is no hard evidence to charge him with anything other than CC/bank fraud. No murder weapon, no dna, no motive.

But it sounds like they CAN prove he committed CC/bank fraud- a federal offence. This allows them to use federal resources to mount a search to find him, arrest him (for CC/Bank fraud), and then question him and gather evidence in her murder. They have to tread very carefully-- it's called due process.

No one is saying that the manhunt is actually for the bank fraud....... We(and the police) know it's because he murdered her or had something to do with it. But they don't have any actual evidence of him committing any crime against her so they have to use the charge of fraud to continue the search/investigation for now.

The FBI hasn’t revealed the Coroner’s cause of death, I imagine the authorities have cause to carry on a widespread search. In the meantime, perhaps Dog will provide updates to his search.

This whole need for hard evidence strikes me as weird to say the least. Say a woman is found dead in her home and the husband has vanished, no debit card use etc just vanished. We saying the police cannot hunt him down because he did not commit a crime?

I don't buy it, how can the police not say, "he was the last person seen with the deceased, so we need to speak to him"?

It gets complicated when you're dealing with a significant passing of time, the suspect is in another state and the cause of death is unknown.

Absolutely not. And the feds wouldn’t be spending every resource necessary to find the BF with the debit card because of $1k bank fraud. It would be a case that would drag on quietly with only people in the community would hear about it but not Earth shattering news.

I heard about this on my morning radio talk show. There's a drone monitoring the parents and "allegedly" they caught the mother handing something to a hand in an underground bunker in the yard. I don't see it at all....but hey makes for great rumors.
(Florida has no basements b/c we are below sea level, 99.9% doubt there could be a bunker)

Yeah, saw that too. Its a fun conspiracy but there's absolutely no way it's real. Bunkers need ventilation, lighting, power, water, sanitation, etc. it's not like Brian could have killed Gabby, called his folks from the road, and said "I'm in deep shit, build me a bunker to hide in when I get home." You need either heavy equipment and a ton of hands to do the work fast, or you need a shit ton of time to do it on the down low. I mean, MAYBE his parents are preppers and had the bunker built years ago for some other situation but what's the chance of that? And then the mom just wanders out to the garden and disregards the drone overhead to hand Brian a sandwich through a trap-door under a plant? it all seems highly unlikely.
