Do you have the 6NK pack and BMW apps?

Hiya,

Right here in the UK (just realised your in Greece), the 6NR (could be a different code for you) pack is an extra but this allows transfer of data from your phone and vice versa i.e. your GPS - I assume your using this to locate where your car is when you've parked up in a shopping centre etc. For this as far as i'm aware you need the BMW iPhone cable and need to download BMW connected from the app store - the rest should be straight forward.

Connecting the phone to make phone calls can be done through usb using the iPhone cable or the BMW iPhone cable (i have only tried the latter but both work as i'm told). Or as you have bluetooth the phone should pair no problems.

The above is a mix of advice I had from the garage and the one other person I know who has an F20. Mine arrives next week so will be able to tell you exactly how it's done.

Let me know if i've misunderstood what your trying to achieve.....

I have only 6NH Bluetooth hands-free facility with USB audio interface

Wireless connection for compatible Bluetooth enabled mobile phones with the vehicle, including hands-free facility. Enables convenient connection of an MP3 player, Apple iPod or USB memory stick in the vehicle. Playback of the audio files via the vehicle's audio system, with operation by equipment-dependent controls (radio controls, multi-function for steering wheel) of the vehicle. Includes 12V power socket in storage compartment of front armrest.

Can it work with apple cable?

BMW iPhone cable connects the iphone to car via a usb and 3.5mm jack.

iPhone cable is the one that came with the phone and connects just via the usb.

I believe that this should work, if not the BMW cable is about £30 on ebay (that's what I paid) or the snap in adapter is about £120 at my local dealer but haven't investigated this option yet.
