I love my M2 Competition, but i'd have more trouble justifying it in today's market. "Not a real M-car" seems like a pretty eye-roll worthy statement about the OG M2, i'd say most of what makes my car special comes down to the chassis, which is basically the same between OG and Comp. Yes, i like the extra revs and the extra power, but the price delta right now is pretty big and unlike a couple of years ago, you're not getting a brand new car when you splurge for the Competition model.

I got a dinan tune on my OG, and a M perf exhaust
With the flaps open and in sport or sport+, once the car is warmed up, the IDLE sounds like a hulking tiger in a cage that needs to be fed That experience alone is so cool and unique for me |

Sure it's upgraded but it's still a N55. To each their own. Having a 335i and going for a "upgraded" N55 yeah I'm not into that. If I'm getting a actual M car I want an actual M built engine, not a half M.
