Really man, that has absolutely nothing to do with 9/11.

Anyways i remember i woke up that day and my dad was like somebody crashed into one of the World Trade centers. We thought it was maybe a amateur pilot. I go to school, and my teacher says someone crashed into the other tower. I'm so confused at this point. I belive they let us out early that day so i went home and turned on the tv and learned it wasn't a accident. I'm a pretty mild mannered guy most of the time, but this day was one of a handful of days where I wanted to kill someone.

We will never forget.

I saw a Fox news special on flight 93, 15 years later, the brother of a passenger that left us was bawling, Dana Perino was crying.
Really touching, just sadness.

They played a recording of a conversation with one of the folks on the flight that crashed in Pa right up until the crash and the connection was lost

The passengers that mounted an effort to retake control of that plane I hold the deepest respect for.

The company I work for had 10 people on the various flights - including one of the folks who led the effort to take down 93. There is a plaque at one of our buildings (the one near DC) with their names.

I worked at Akamai for 4 years and Danny Lewin was the co-founder. Absolutely brilliant and changed technology forever. He is always mentioned as the first person to die since he was in the Israeli Army and tried to stop the hijackers. It's a great story, but always sad to lose someone in the prime of his life. He never got to see the full fruition of his blood, sweat, and tears.

Remember this day very well as my brother who I had not seen in a long time was scheduled to visit--plans changed and instead spent the rest of the day watching one of the darkest days in American history, only eclipsed (arguably) by the attack on Pearl Harbor.
And I always will remember how the country came together, whites, blacks, gays, all other ethnicities and Democrats and Republicans as one nation, holding hands together, flying the flag and in the sorrow of the moment appreciating each other and who we are and where we live.
Let us never forget.

It is sad to think only a tragedy of this magnitude can bring us together as a nation.

Sorry but most ppl in stadiums are standing because they see other people standing. if they knew they wouldn't be seen, I guarantee most people would be sitting. People tend to follow other people, and if you lived in a house hold where someone stood up even at home, you better believe everyone in that house will be standing up sooner or later.

With all the shit going on in the world and in the US the shit ppl tend to focus on blows my mind... fkn lions and gorillas..
