Headlight lamp replacement

Hello,

Jumping in from the 5 series forum and hoping someone can help. My Son has 2013 114 Sport and loves the car however, the standard lamps are worse than useless. Can anyone recommend a reasonably cheap upgrade or alternative lamps.

Sorry if this has been asked before.

Thanks in Advance,

Gordon.

Cheapest will be getting some high output bulbs such as Osram Nighbreakers that will perform better and get rid of the yellow look.

No doubt some users of such will be along with the exact info on what works without errors soon.

I swapped the oem bulbs out for some Osram Night breakers and they are a huge improvement. I got mine from EuroCar parts for about £25 a pair.

I've yet to drive a non-xenon car with decent lights. I fitted Osram night breakers to my girlfriends car and they are better but don't expect too much but definitely worth buying. He should have gone for Xenon really.

Agree and he regrets not ticking this option.

Will give the night breakers a try. Thanks to all for your help.

Gordon.

If they are still bad, adjust them to point up a bit, then take it to an MOT garage to check.
