Parking brake is loose

Hello everyone,

I think my parking brake is loose. I need to pull it up a lot to stop the car completely.
What can I do?

I suggest contact a mechanic to consult if this is not the normal behavior.

If you want to solve it by yourself,
You need to strain the handbrake wire.
As far as I know, this can be done from the rear wheels only (lots of videos and instructions online).

I would like to solve it by myself.
I searched youtube and all that for videos, but no luck with F20/30 (as they are very similar in parts and maintenance).
Any tutorial would be appreciated

1 addicts, E Gen forum,
I think it should be the same..

"Let's adjust the parking brake"

Still, when it comes to brakes and safety, at first I would go for a mechanic and pay to learn before trying by myself.

Good luck
