I'm looking at new wheels for my 118D sport and want something that will be able to handle British roads and the occasional bit of going sideways but I don't fancy pays too much for temporary wheels do you think Rotiform BLQ wheels will be okay ?

Never heard of them but what's wrong with the OEM wheels you have?

Unless they are 19" from the cracking era they can handle UK roads so if you want some knock about wheels would it be cheaper to pick up a set from fleabay.

Plenty of standard fit wheels people have taken off the cars when fitting something more unique available.

I just don't like the wheels I have on now and think something Abit nicer would vastly improve the look of my car but thank you for the advice

Don't go for any cheap wheel (reps).
Real Rotiform BLQ will last some beating for sure. They have a certain quality standard to keep up.
I'd stay away from Rota's or Inovit or similar sh*t if you're going to "abuse" them. Go for real brands. A set of second hand OZ Ultraleggera's will be far beter than a set of new cheapass china rims.

Cheers I was looking at some Rota drift wheels but looking at them a lot of people have managed to crack or completely destroy them think it just get the BLQs and be carful

I had a set of 17inch BLQ's on my focus. Great looking wheels and made well. Pretty sure Rotiform don't make BLQ's in 5x120 BMW fitment.

Jup, even for the cast models they offer custom pcd for a small surcharge.

Curious about seeing BLQ's on a F20. Would rather go for SNA or MIA

I do like the look if the SNAs but only in the three piece spilt I still prefer the three piece concave BLQs but I can't afford close to $1500 per corner and import taxs as I'm pretty young

I also think NUEs would really compliment the f20 but I know people with those wheels 😞

I have just took delivery of a set of Rotiform IND's. I had them custom done in 5x120. Not sure what's happening with my F21 at the moment so might be for sale soon

19x8.5 ET45. Will fit perfect on a 1 series. Could even be spaced out.

Was going to go for 17x8 and wider rear with a 43ET then space to get a good fitment don't fancy 19s I think they're too big

You can go lower than et43 with 8" wheels. I have et38, and still have some space left to the wheel arches. I think et35 is perfect, and that is a rather common offset for aftermarket rims.

Nah 19's are perfect. The arches are big. Will have to fit a big tyre for 17s to look right.

The wheels will be spaced anyway to get a good fitment so I'm not sure what to do with the of set but my thoughts where if I get them close to stick wheels then I will have less issues with tracking and speedo errors
