Hi all - got the basic iDrive on the F20 Sport I have ordered and have specced parking sensors - do these show on iDrive or is it audio only?

Thanks

I've only got the basic idrive with parking assist. When I engage reverse, I get a computer image of the rear of the car and a coloured warning system indicating how close I am to objects nearby.
Hope this helps,

Paul

you get a plan view of the car and a radar style display of the objects and how far they are from your back bumper, on the idrive display. One annoyance is that the reversing sensors do not immediately disengage when you take the gear out of reverse, you have to drive forwards to get the beeping to stop (neutral ain't enough!)

yeah I read that somewhere, cant see that being a biggie tbh, most cases after I reverse into a space I end up going forward a wee bit anyway!

Garage List
If you have both rear and front PDC, then you also have a button for manually turning them on/off. Also, if you have the 8at, PDC will stop beeping when you engage park.
