It's on my shopping list for sure. M Exhaust today. Brake upgrade possibly next. Will decide at the end of the month after I drive up to Scotland and back.

Would an lsd void any aspect of the warranty?

Want one very much. However what stops me is that we don't have supports in Asia.

Wondering how durable are they?

I actually called them and asked about if its installation leads to voiding warranty, the guy said it wouldn't. I kinda doubt that though. Here we get into enough trouble fitting in aftermarket DVD players already

For the warranty to be void, the actual modification must have caused an issue, and that is very unlikely. There are not all that many things the internals of the differential can affect.

They do claim that it will not effect warranty
And for any aftermarket part has to be proved that the
Problem you had was caused buy it. Dealers will tell you
Your warranty is void because its the easy answer to give

In my car experience making friends with the service manager
at the dealership never hurts as he /she will be you best friend
when you need something

I've always had the dealer fit the bits I've wanted to get done as it
Makes them more comfortable as they fitted the parts. You would prob
Pay more in labour but then it's about keeping everyone happy.

😄

Quaife installed. 1st small run: mighty, mighty traction and naughty, naughty power slides. Loving it already...!

One minor question. Once you come out of a hairpin, and you give it more power, and let's say we're in SPORT+, does computer cut in, or do you slide away

Not taken it on a track yet, but the sensation in SPORT alone is that with the wheels spinning up the nanny light stays off a lot longer.

So far I haven't buried the throttle long enough to keep the sideways action going long enough but the fact that I have subdued the traction nanny a bit has made the car a lot more fun.

I have noticed three things so far:

1. The wham-bam ZF gearbox has been smoothed out a bit in terms of power delivery. Now I really need to be giving it the beans before the next gear selection feels like a sledgehammer has hit me in the back. Smooooooth power.

2. The car feels a /lot/ more stable under braking and through sweeping corners (just need some sway bars at the front I think).

3. As much as the tail is looser even with sticky tyres on a wet surface, if driven sensibly the rear end also wants to snap back and straighten up any slippage if you ease off the power and let the tyres bite.
