Estimated cost to replace E46 clutch?

What's reasonable for a dealership to charge to replace a clutch in a E46? I'm out of town and getting it replaced for someone else. It's a 2000 323i.

Alright, I'm only visiting so I don't know anything about the local garages. That's why I figured BMW dealer would be safest bet for quality work. Just don't want to over pay at a stealership.

Its a VERY simple job and a good mechanis can have it done in no more than 4 hours with a coffee break! I did 3 in my E30 M3 myslef on jack stands. saying that a good ClutchMasters Clutch $750 and labor ar $85 an hour =$340 so around $1,000 to $1,200 here. My 2 cents.

Thanks for the input. I would do it myself if I had access to the tools. I'm just visiting on vacation and they aren't car people nor do they have tools/space to replace it.

500 labor + parts, and stock clutch is very cheap.
