A respectable 6.45pm arrival at the hotel. Upon arrival, it seems there is a wedding going on! We're bumped from our "quadruple room" to the cottage!

En route to the Passo Fedaia.....

And what is it with Italian passes, different speed limits on each side? 90kph on one side and 50kph on the other!?!?!? I can only assume from the signage, it is different Italian Districts?

And speed cameras!!!!!! How many!!!! I thought the UK was bad, but coming down from some of the passes there were 3 speed cameras inside or 200 metres!

Anyway, total mileage to date.

Tomorrow, we head for BMW Welt via the Großglockner.

Well, i've just stuffed myself with goose, sausages, cheese and bacon, pasta, venison and chips, washed down with a litre of beer, but here is the route for tomorrow.....with a nice stop over at the Großglocker for beer and sausage.

The weather started to change at the Großglockner and left around 4.30pm. And started our journey to Munich, ready for an early start at BMW Welt.

9.30 - M3 hire
10.30 - quick snack and collect factory tour tickets
11.15 - tour starts
14.30 - tour ends
15.00 - food

The Großglockner is over there somewhere!!

So, day 7, the final day of fun before we head home. And for a long day at BMW, you need a good breakfast!!

After meats and cheeses and fruit and yoghurt, you need cake!!!

Had this for an hour this morning. It only had 522km on the clock, so basically brand new. As the mileage is so low, it hasn't had its running in service, so revs restricted to 7k and you received a warning at 175kph.

But i still managed to cover 71km and use 7 litres of petrol

Anyway, F80 M3 in black / red leather with competition pack.

And now that i've driven one. I want one.

And so, final hotel of the trip. After leaving BMW Welt at around 16:30 we headed for the last hotel north west of Stuttgart and arrived at 9pm.

Even though the motorway between Munich and Stuttgart is mostly derestricted, there are quite a lot of roadworks so top speed limited to around 220kph in the 335d.

Also saw a 530e on the Autobahn being tested, so I'm guessing that'll be in the shops soon.

The beer soon flowed.....

There was also a fat juicy steak, but well, i ate that

Tomorrow sees us arrive home, a gentle pace through Germany, Luxembourg and France.

I'm not going to post huge amounts of photos from BMW Welt as most people have seen them hundreds of times before and we spent most of our time there driving M cars, doing the factory tour and eating.

But here are a few.....

The "M" stand with a M4 vert, M4 coupe, M2 and M4 CS.

And of course if you choose to collect your brand new BMW direct from BMW, this is where you come! The cars on the display today are being collected by their new owners. They get to do a few laps of the oval before driving them outside.

And of course, the most famous car at BMW Welt.......the Isetta, which if you are lucky enough, you can get a ride in around BMW Welt.

Final mileage check before the final 372 mile dash to Calais.

Compared to last year, we're covered around 400-500 fewer miles.
