Hi all,

I'm thinking to change the stock exhaust system of my M140i with th MPE one. Is it worth the money or not in your opinion? Does anyone have the MPE installed? Are there substantial differences compared to the stock sys.?

If you like your exhaust sound a bit louder, a bit sportier...
But not 'rice level' exaggerated sound level...

Then it's a good option.

If I was to choose again, Id go for a valved Remus backbox or similar. Its a bit cheaper too.

MPE while pretty good sounding (after about 4k KM it settled very nicely imo), on long motorway journeys it drones a bit between 1k - 2k RPM. I assume its because MPE for m140 doesnt have a valve for some reason. I dont mind it as I do 1 or 2 such journeys a year but its still a bit annoying.

It's well worth it! Speak to Blue Bell in Crewe. They gave me a good deal on mine.
