125i M Performance Power Kit

So after waiting a year for this option my dealer tells me that it's only available for July 2012 onward builds. Mine is June 2012

He says they ECU is different for July 2012+ models.

Can't they just replace that also? Surely there isn't much difference between the cars otherwise?

*Frustrated**

I asked my dealer in Sydney (BMW Sydney in fact) about this and they said they haven't heard about it. I got the whole spiel that it may not be approved for ADR. Ugh, wish they could give me a straight answer. Hopefully once the car arrives they'll know something.

Someone on the German 1erforum bought the performance pack and wrote his experience. Sadly, didn't do a before and after dyno-run

So the dealer here in Sydney got back to me. They want $4750 and have no idea as to when they can get it in. Luckily I was sitting down when they told me the price...

They will drop the price for sure at one moment. It's a no sense to develop something and sell nothing

My dealer told me $2568.52 + fitting. That was before he told me I couldn't get it.
