I live in Fremont and my wife and I definitely felt that 4.0 quake. Woke us right up and felt like we were sleeping in a jumpy house for a quick sec. lol Even felt the little aftershocks.
Not really concerned though. If the big one does happen, we are prepared as much as we can be to survive for awhile: water, canned goods, batteries, lots or ammo and guns, kits in our cars, etc.

That's not saying that an earthquake in the Cascadia Subduction Zone isn't a threat. The movement alone would wreak havoc simply because structures aren't built to withstand earthquakes like places that have them more frequently. But the idea that tsunamis are a significant threat to the major population centers in the Pacific NW is kind of silly. The coastal towns are FUBAR though.

I always wondered that too. You always here about these foreshocks leading to the big one. Isn't it ever the big one turned in to a bunch of little ones and that's it?
