My niece and her new husband were in town from Montreal, so we went to one of my favorite restaurants in Santa Barbara, The Palace. I had the blackened lamb chops, and the quart mason jar Dean Martini. Unfortunately, they will only sell you a single Martini in the quart size

If there is damage on the car, and I'd ask the dealership NOT to tell me where it is, but I can spot the "touch up"

Would you still take it? Or pass up on it and grab an i8 for under msrp?

Checked the trucking site and nothing...so I'm starting to fear the worst

Not knowing where it's at, what's going on, etc- is what's getting to me.

If this is standard when adding a few pieces at the VPC then cool. But if it got damaged, I want to know as well.

This way I can simply expect the better half of August to be normal- and start mentally preparing myself for an i8 rather than an m6.

As of last night- they dont except that it's still at the VPC , when it as supposed to have been at the dealership by Wednesday night.

They dont know shit. All they have is a little piece of paper that updates daily. Its called the something something pipline log. The same info Rob has. When my car was coming, we had no exact day when it was going to show up. When the trucks arrived day after day I'd run out there looking for it and be heart broken every time it wasnt on there. Of course on my day off it arrived. Rob's guess is as good as the dealers.

Still no car, still at the VPC according to the BMW genius number.

And he definitely didn't know. Not starting a controversial topic here, but an m6 in city life would smoke a GTS either off the line and especially on a roll.

Different class of vehicle.

Either that or he must not know how to drive the car properly
