M140 LCI for 🇦🇺

More kit and more go for the AUS M140 LCI, significant price drop also! September orders onwards.

Last of the RWD greats, I think it's time to trade in the 2013 M135i

Do you think the m240i updated edition will also drop roughly the same in price?
I guess it's competing with Audi s3 pricing.

Damn. When's the last production date for the F20?

Might need to get the last RWD 6 cylinder 1 series. I really wished they'd made a proper 1M hatch.

drive away pricing of the LCI2 m140i in Australia is $64,990 (nsw) . the $59k price is before on roads and dealer charges,. so I went to put an order for the new LCI2 but with just metallic paint and sunroof it came upto $68,000. there is also a catch with the reduced pricing on the new LCI2 M140i, it looses few options which were standard on the LCI like electric memory seat, seat heating , lumbar support, yes LCI2 has very minor interior upgrades with the touch screen (which you cant use while driving), everything same including the incredible b58 straight 6engine 250kw. 500nm. so I ended up buying the exisitng 2017 LCI1 m140i brand new with all the options and metallic pain, sunroof for $55,000 drive away. cant complain . got it delivered last week, its an incredible little car.

2019 1 series will loose rwd and most likely loose the 6 cylinder engine. its going to be fwd and x drive with heavily turbo charged 4 cylinder as top of the range. sad

I have recently ordered my LCI2, take delivery early new year so it is a proper 18 car.

Alpine white with black wheels, white is the new black isn't it?

The options list isn't long, I added in the sunroof, black M Performance kidneys, front seat heating, tint for the windows and the contrast stitching for the seats.

Given the long list of standard kit, not too much of which was removed from the previous LCI (LCI2 still retains things such as comfort access, electric front seats, HK audio) it is a well specd car.

Paid just a touch over $61K

Now the waiting process begins ?
