Notist that I had water under the floor carpet both sides on my 12 f20.

Same thing happened to my X1. We were not using the car, it was idle in front of the house for a month. It came out that the water was leaking from the edge of the windshield because of a little hole on the silicone. The car was towed to the service because the module that controls the wipers and horn was damaged. They sucked 5 liters of water and the damage to electronic parts cost 2000 EUR in total!!

You should take your car to the service before the water harms any of the electronic components.
