i aint to sure if there is a topic already
am just wondering if there's a way of putting songs onto a usb an connecting into the usb drive an play songs, instead of buying a iphone 5 ada, an anyone help me with an explain how to do it thanks. |

Just put your music onto a usb memory stick and plug it into the usb socket in the arm rest. Job Done.
I have a 64gb Memory stick with over 600 Albums stored as mp3's on mine. Works great. The idrive will pick the memory stick up as an external device and then you can view or search through Album, Artist, Tracks, Genre, Playlists etc etc. Cheers Lee |

it sounds better as well- only problem is, your iphone wont be charging... which is bad for sat nav usage

Yes, that's all. You can put the music in folders if you want to, but you don't have to. The car will figure it out. You can even add playlist files.

Yep as long as they were ripped with id3 tags in itunes or mp3 ripping software or downloaded with tags attached then you should be fine.
The idrive should pick up Artist, Album, Track, Genre, track length etc. etc. Cheers Lee |
