iPhone 6 / IOS 8 Forum App Crashes

I just upgraded to the IPhone 6 which has ios8 and ever since then the forum app constantly crashes. Does anyone else have this issue?

I did the IOS 8 software upgrade on my 5S and have no issues. No problems with the iPad either.

Interesting. I'm not sure how it could be just an iPhone 6 issue.

It crashed frequently on my 5 once I upgraded to iOS8 and it's still unstable on my 6. It does seem like the hold down to get to the end of a thread feature is a near guarantee of crashing.

Or try loading a news story from the homepage. Failure rate is 100%

iOS 8 on both my iPad mini and my 5S, the app crashes pretty regularly now...

i believe ios8 was supposed to be backwards compatible with all ios7 apps unless the developer chose to take advantage of the newer features.

Turns out that's not so much the case. Developers are caught off guard and now busting ass to get updates out.

I have been hearing this. It makes sense. Let's hope bimmer post decides to update the iPhone app asap.

i think its vbulletin that has to put out the update.

Crashes on my Ipad 2. Im able to see the news feed and select the forum I would like to go to. Once I pick a thread. Boom, crashed.

Skip the plus and get the regular 6.

The plus is just way too big for one handed operation and thicker than the 6.

get a nexus or note, you'll have the same tech but already tested and out for a few years. alternatively, you can wait a month and get a new note and be years ahead.
