BMW 2012 120d rear bumper removal

Has fitted a towbar to the F20 hatchback and if so how hard is it to remove the bumper?

Be carefully as you may loose your warranty if you don't install a BMW towbar. BMW adjust the braking controls for a towbar. It is well over priced but you can remove and install on your next 1 series or remove and sell it. My BMW dealer asked how come I had a towbar in my contract free. They were trying to debate the cost, of course I said too bad it's in writing on my contract a being free.

I've removed the rear bumper to install a towbar. It's easy removing - difficult re-attaching. When refitting just make sure the underside of the bumper is clear of the surrounding surfaces. If it is caught underneath you won't get it back on.
