Batmobile

Bob, thanks for the photo. That's exactly what I wanted to convey. The F20 design at the front is superb, especially on darker colours. Call it pig, bird or Batmobile, it just looks like a luxury car, a limousine, even though it's just a hatch. It's the combination of front grill with the angry lights that makes this design pure BMW. And from the side, it has that angry SHARK look that gives the shivers.

Maybe it should be wrapped from the inside? With something less prominent is colour so there isn't too much contrast?

I've been thinking about doing something very similar but too scared to take apart the headlights..

Think of the Subaru WRX when they changed the interior of the headlights to grey/black from chrome (or was it the other way around.. meh)

If I wanted to improve the design, I would have tried to add some features that extended the lights towards the kidneys.
Totally agree with this. I think they were thinking it made the car look Alfa-esque, but it just didn't quite work out. It's taken 2 years but the front has grown on me!

To @David.Yu... are you the same David Yu who has the super modified Nissan GTR that I read about in Evo, by any chance?

Also, wondering what wheels you have? They look great with EBII to may consider for our 335d!

They are a much cheaper brand than BBS... around half price or less so perhaps not a direct competitor... Can't comment on quality myself...

I can't see it before 2015. X3 was launched in 2010, so consistent with 3-4 years before the LCi comes out. The F20 has only been around 2-3 years so a little while yet.

So what would you like to get fixed on the facelift model?
Here are some things I would like:
- Mono button for setting both sides of the A/C.
- Oil temperature somewhere in instruments or iDrive.
- More engine braking capability for the N13 engine.

Any temperature gauge would be great!
Standard LSD for the M135i
Revert to the front end design of the 2 series

I was about to post a question regarding the temp gauge but I always like to search first... It's strange not to have a temp gauge, I feel like I'm flying blind.

Being in Saudi Arabia makes me paranoid when it comes to temps at all times.
