The footwell ones are very dim though. I couldn't see them at all until I crouched right down and saw a faint orange glow to the pedals. They don't light up the black carpet but they do light your feet!

I have to say though, I like the subtlety of this. I was convinced my ambient lights had been left out altogether until I knew what to look for. Now if I switch them off it looks dull without them.

Yeah on the idrive. Same menu as you adjust between sport and classic colour schemes. Quite cool cause it adjusts the ambience lights only, not the instrument lights. Of course I leave mine on max brightness, I want to get my moneys worth!!
