F20 M135 carbon air intake

It seems ARMA doesn't have good reputation for their supercharge here.
what about their carbon air intake?
I saw their FACEBOOK, one guy actually put their carbon air intake on his M135.
And I have check their website, they got so many this kind products for bimmers and benz . Anyone has comments for it ?

I read on their Facebook and homepage, it's like the carbon air box can cool the air temp, so makes the car faster.....

after market cold air intake does give the engine more cold air, but the power gain is minimal, about 5-10 hp I think, so is it worthy to pay that much money for a little performance gain?? I would think it twice and use the money to upgrade suspension to improve handling.

I wouldn't get the whole cold air intake kit. I would just go for a k&n filter for similar cold air input comparing to the kit and it is easy to clean and last longer than the factory one.

Upgrade sway bars, sports suspension setup, endlinks, bushes, coilovers etc.

Does the K&N have the stainless -steel air filter? I read ARMA blog, they use the stainless-steel air filter, what's the difference between those filters?

Paper filters filter dirt because of the dense fibers. Oil filters like K&N are based on trapping the dirt in oil and fibers. Stainless steel mesh adsorbs dirt less than oil and are thicker and pack less dense than paper fibers. Its not trapping the dirt and just letting it through to the engine. The only good things about SS filter is easy to clean, no oil involved and less moisture absorbed than paper and oil types.
