OEM F30 style 397 18" alloys on F2x m135i
Greetings from the UK.
Fitted style 397 double spokes F30 alloys [18" x 8" x 34mm et] on my M135i. Had wheels painted ferric grey 2, fitted with oem Mich PSS's and mounted onto my car [lowered on H&R sports springs]. More photos embedded in the link below http://babybmw.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=74&t=67036

Yes rims all square 8" wide but tyres are as per std m135i ie 225/40/18 F and 245/35/18 R.
No spacers req'd as 34mm et provides 18mm more poke than std. Thanks ! |

Not sure I understand
Take off the made-to-measure, M135i wheels and fit some size compromised painted SE wheels from an 3 Series?
Sounds like a downgrade in every respect Off course that's just my opinion. Bottom line, as long as it makes you happy |

Steve,
Downgrade to you maybe but oem wheels are a sod to keep clean and not that nice to look at in my eyes. I wanted something more pleasing to the eye [461m are much nicer looking than 436m but currently too pricey] preferably more poke [w/o spacers] and more concave wheel face. Staying oem means insurance friendly. Win-win.

Not really any of my business
Your logic does make entirely good sense. Staying OEM is a very good idea, and standard M135i wheels are difficult to clean, especially that deep groove around the circumference
So its just a matter of taste. I actually like the look of the standard wheels but I understand why you may not. The car is a hoot though, is it not? |

I was sad to see my trusty 335i touring go after 4 years, when I sold it on.
The F20 M135i was the successor and it is definitely a hoot. Good straight out of the box. It gets a whole lot better once you start to "fettle" it though.....

Does anybody knows if 18"x8,5"-ET47 rear wheel will fit F20? With 245-35 tyres?
That's F30 M Sport rear wheel size. We have just confirmed front wheel size fits perfectly! |

Based on
Std rear is 8" wide and 52mm et 9" wide with 50mm et fit without issue. 8.5" wide with 47mm et should be ok in terms clearance between to damper inside and not cause any rubbing on bodywork on outer face |

is there any dramas with the different offset between the F20 and F30? I am looking at putting OZ racing Superturismo LMs on my M135i but no one over here in the convict settlement seems to know anything on this subject

I'm considering F32 441M wheels but not sure if rear wheel 18x8.5" ET47 will fit F20 without rubbing (lowered on Eibach Pro Kit springs).

Using man maths to compare oem 8" 52mm ET with 8.5" 47mm ET, I get Outside rim sticks out 11mm further than stock and should be minimal change in gap better inner rim and suspension. Therefore fits ok. Thanks for the compliment. PD Last edited by Bee Pee; 10-27-2014 at 05:02 PM.. |

Pave,
Those 397s look nice on your ride. I've actually been considering fitting them on my 118i. It looks spot on your lowered ride. However, I've been wondering if they would still be tucked in on stock suspension. I have no plans on lowering yet(assuming lowering would tuck in further/chamber) and don't exactly fancy wheels that protrude out of the fender. These are the other pics that I could find for comparison but the 397s in pic are replicas. Not too sure if they have the same dimensions, and based on the pics, they look as though they poke out a tiny bit. Cheers |

Link below is a thread on babybmw. http://www.babybmw.net/viewtopic.php?f=74&t=56914 Scroll down to post by Godzilla, with pictures of blue M135i on std suspension with a set of LRN Cyclones 8" wide with 35mm ET. Gives you an idea of poke without being lowered. |

Bee Pee do these poke out of the fender. I really like these wheels but worried about it poking out too much cuz the offaet is 34. I have a 2014 118D sports plus (india). I am currently on m6 reps with an offset of 37 with 235/40s all around. The tires poke out by a few mm
