BMW Seal and Protect and Other Products
Afternoon all
Just been up to the dealers to complete all the paperwork for the ever nearing arrival of my F20 which is currently 'At Sea' and whilst I was there they guy was trying to flog me all of the additonal products. I am just interested in what you think of these and if they are worth it. BMW Seal and Protect - £150 or £3 per month. SMART (Smalll Motor Accident Repair Technology) - covers Chips, Minor Dents, Light Scratches and Scuffed Bumpers. 2 years cover up to the claim value of £3000 for £399. BMW Tyre/Alloy Wheel Insurance - covers punctures etc, curbed wheels. 2 years cover, up to 5 new tyres (not sure how many wheels) for £399. Or SMART and Tyre/Wheel Insurance for £599. What are your thoughts on the above, are any worth getting? PS their GAP is about £399, I have a quote for £164 which they can't beat.

Tyre and wheel cover? I thought the BMW product only covered tyres?
SMART might be a handy thing to have, you could get any stone chips touched up for a couple of years free of charge.. Although if you think about how much that would cost at a good bodyshop it makes £400 sound high. As for the GAP - ask them if they can match it |
