OK, finally ordered my M135i today. Spec as follows:

- 3 door auto, Estoril blue, black leather
- Driver comfort pack
- Extended Storage
- Auto lights & wipers
- Business audio (free upgrade at the moment)

I`ve ordered through my company car scheme, and should have a delivery estimate provided soon. Will let you all know when this is as soon as I know.

Hopefully suggested wheel change won't cause too many issues. And if it is the hexagon cloth interior slowing things down, then I should be unaffected.

When I got back into my car afterwards, I smiled and thought "F@ck, I love this car!" I'm sure the sentiment will be much more extreme for you

Strange, the A3 has 211hp and bit more torque and the DSG is a fenomenal gearbox. The balance isn't there as in the BMW, but do you really feel this soo much? What are the differences with the 118i to your experience?

Isn't is curious that what is on paper from the manufacturer does not necessarily translate to how the car works on the road.
I think the compasion here has a lot to do with the FWD torque steer in the A1 as it does not allow the power of its engine to be put to the best use and the steering geometry may not be quite as good as 1er, therefore it may feel less energetic and agile.

For the rest of us still waiting, we have time to ponder how we feel about the revised wheel design! Personally, I think they have ruined it.

I don't care. I never liked that wheel design anyway. Will be looking to change them when I can.

Small change, but lost the essence entirely.

I hope they would have solved the rusty seat issue before my car goes into production

I've just been given an estimated delivery date of mid December. Ordered at the start of September. Doesn't seem too bad, presuming it's accurate.

Don't really agree, I like it.

It provides some flair and distinction while dynamic, the tint will avoid you feel obliged to clean it every other day with your tooth brush and 18" seems the perfect size for the cause here.

There are much worse designed wheels in the catalog now I'am afraid.

The M135i is a stunning value proposition, don't like the clumsy exterior, but the thing is affordable and nothing in this price range comes even close! I bet it can play together with some really expensive boy toys.

Actually, I was only referring to what they have changed to the design of the wheel from the launch version, however minor, it was still a change for the worse, in my opinion.

If you scroll up to the 14th post of this thread, you'll see how they have changed the wheel design, filling up half the gap between each double spokes. Other M performance models have this basic wheel design, and the 118i 18" M Sport wheels have similar slit between spokes, just that their gap goes from wheel hub to rim edge, not filled up half way.

I see, indeed the gap between the two spokes has been bridged now.

When you compare both wheels next to each other, I agree the concept was a bit more "special". But to me, the it's not such a big deal. It still remains a special and nice wheel. Besides, it will be more rigid like this.

This detail will only be noticed by the 0,0001% enthousiast I guess.

hey guys had one question....the f27 rear looks exactly the same as the e87 rear....we don't get these in the states (yet for f20 series)....is it just the front that changed? I'm really hoping there would be an //M production for this in the future for us or an M2 as speculated. Thanks! (I post in f30 and in 1addicts - gf just got msport 135i and I love these small cars).

Dealer in Hong Kong told me my M135i will be arriving in November. Given the unreliability of BMW sales in Hong Kong, I'd believe it when I see it.
