First impressions of my 125d
I have had my 125d for 2 weeks and am still running in, so far she has been a pleasure to drive. I have been using eco mode in traffic and using sport for overtaking and accelerating from traffic lights and have been getting 55 mpg for longer journeys. My run to work is only 12 miles so the average drops to 44 mpg. Typically the engine has just warmed up as I arrive and with the temp quite low I am happy as this still beats my old 118d.
Looking forward to driving back up North to Scotland to visit the folks it will be interesting to see how the car responds to some of the wonderful Highland roads. As this is my first Automatic I am still getting used to the different driving techniques, I love the fact that I don't have to break as much especially on roundabouts. |

Lovely motor, Estoril is emerging as a very popular colour choice across the 1 series range. Also another happy Automatic owner I see, I'm in the middle of the that all important decision myself. I'm sure you'll have plenty of fun on the way up to Scotland on the twists and turns

Great picture. Was it uncomfortable lying in the puddle?
Trust me. The car will get better and better as the miles pile on. I've covered 3.5k and mpg and power has improved. Had a little drive from Glasgow up Loch Lomond, Glencoe to fort William and back today and the car was fantastic. Comfortable, economic, fast and fun. Had some fun with a TT Quattro, a5 and a mk5 GTi throughout the journey. TT gave a flash of approval as I hung with him even though it was snowing heavily. The golf came off very badly. Infantile but hey, that's the point of these cars and those roads.

The road up to Glen Coe is superb I am so envious, I usually carry on at Crianlarich towards Killin on the A85 then Callander on the A84. Have you tried your 125 on the Dukes Pass? Sounds like you had a blast in the snow Mr Buck I love the auto still getting used to the paddles. Another pic taken today in Windsor Great Park didn't get too wet thankfully. |

Car looks stunning mate and great pics!
I bet the 125d is pretty quick I opted for a 120d and it feels pretty eager even with 400 miles on the clock! Certainly glad we chose it over the 118d but wish we could of stretched to the 125d :-) |

Great pics. Nice to see someone taking some decent pics for once. No offence to anyone but so far few of us (myself included) have done any better than some snaps. I've been planning a shoot for ages but every time it's dry I go a drive rather than clean the car.

I did toy with the idea of saving myself a few Łk by getting a 120d with the BMWppk but I knew that if they released one for the 125d I'd be kicking myself.

Lovely car m8.
Got 125d myself. Had a 320d remapped with high flow back box, high flow air filter. Went very well so i didn't want to get 120d and feel underwhelmed compared to last car so got 125. Have the Say the 125 would smoke it. Just over 4k on the clock now and totally different car than few K ago. Only race I've had is Audi A4... Never got to see what model it was as I completely destroyed it lol |

I certainly notice the difference between the 125d and my old 118d, bags more torque and acceleration. I have not driven the 120d so can't make a judgement however I am so glad I opted for the 125d.
Thanks for all the comments on my pic's guys. Here is a pic of my old 118d parked up near Glen Coe |
