Dealer F#@$ Boys

Not long ago I purchased Jeep Wrangler for my wife I decide to take in for Oil change. Thinking Jeep dealer would take care of everything no problems.
Well today all of the snow was gone form my driveway. I notice huge stain of oil on my driveway where wife parks I called he telling he to get home I need check under her Jeep there might be oil leak. Sure enough bottom of the Jeep was soaked in oil I was like WTF I researched online sure enough oil filter housing was made out of plastic and if you over tighten filter it will crack.
I immediately call dealer they said to bring car in to get it checked I was ready to punch hole in somebody face. when I got there they told me they will take care of it. I was like you will take car of it they told me yes Something tells me this is not their first time F#@$ing this up.

Coke will take off fresh oil stains, the acid in it does wonders. Get yourself a couple of 2 liter bottles.

I always thought of taking a car back as being like that scene in Road Trip with the French toast and no sugar. They'll take care of it, what could be easier than an oil change to begin with?

Tell them to send one of their oil bitches with two bags of oil dry. All the kid has to do is grind it into the ground with his feet and it'll pull most all of it out. Neighbor had the same thing happen a long time ago, except the place he went to didn't have the courtesy of sending anyone. The guy was like 80 years old.

At least you didn't sieze the engine. I had a dealer strip the oil plug threads in the oil pan. Plug fell out. Car siezed on the nj turnpice. Honda. Needed a new engine. Dealer wouldn't cover it. Said it left fine and it had been weeks so it wasn't his problem. I was a college kid at the time. Had to eat it.

Not sure about the last post. Cars go down. Rent, whatever. Yours didn't. Dealer fixed. Couple hours. Couple cokes. I used engine cleaner degreaser on my drive. Worked fine. I don't get the issue except dealer screwed up, you got a stain, car needed a couple hours repair time.

Humility could serve some people well on the boards.
