After 9k km of running the pcv straight to atmosphere, everything seems fine and the engine internals from intake pipes to valves are clean and oil free. Recommended.

Oh and i have swapped the custom silicone block with this, you can find it at your local peugeot workshop / dealer asking it eith the code number you see in pic. OEM look and perfect fitting.

Hi, I'm new to this forum (bought F20 116i lately).
I run into some info about the need of oil catch can in our cars and decided i would like to install one as well (I don't liked "straight to atmosphere" method).
I tried to find one that i can install by myself but I got zero results.

Can any one help/guide me?
Can I use N20 engine kit?

Thanks!

I bought that Peugeut part and blocked the intake. Then I ran the engine without anything connected to the exhaust output tube and I felt like nothing is coming out of that? Could it be so that its "passive" in away that air is only moving when engine is sucking air. And if not connected nothing happens?

Anyway, that is just a theory that I decided to test by blocking also the output completely. In some engines this will lead into an engine error light when some air flow sensor detects too low flow. But in my case I have had no issues. I did this only few days ago so I have not driven that much yet.

Edit: I read more about what the PCV is about and realized that I should not block it. So the options seems to be routing to atmosphere or installing an oil catch can.

Yes it is very passive but when the turbo gets boost, it sucks the oil for sure.
It is not much of difference though. Maybe someone with OCC installed can show how much oil it collects overtime. I cannot measure it with my vent to atmosphere setup.

Do you have the exact model of the catch can?
Also may you please share the bracket design with us?
Are there any additional parts needed in addition to the catch can and the bracket?

Thanks
