Isnt it just plug and play? A dyno before and after would be nice.

Yo mdt, there's this cool website called Google. Check it out

Why would you flash it mdt? If you wanted a faster car, why not just buy the CLA45 without driving it, or buy something with more then 6cyl?

Jesus, do you guys have to follow me everywhere?

Actually, this is just a bit of mental masturbation on my part. I decided, a long time ago, that I would not be modifying this car. Not in the slightest. It's a slippery slope. You start off with a little sniff of a zorst, followed a couple of lines of suspension and before you know it, you're head first in a bag of engine with powder all over your face.

That said, what's a little taste of Hartge between friends?

Nope, decided not to dyno the machine. I can feel the additional power and acceleration. Just fitted the Bastuck exhaust yesterday. Sounds pretty crap in comfort however in sport well that is a different story, absolutely awesome! Will need to speak with Ramspeed to make some adjustments with the exhaust. If you are in Melbourne speak with Evolve tuning.

Picked up my Hartge-tuned beast today and it is now Biblically quick. Awesome raw acceleration in Sport and manual mode on the ZF. Traction control barely holds it now at full throttle in third at 5k revs. Comfort mode feels sharper but not ruined. Going to give the Bastuck a miss and switch to the M Exhaust I think, although the stock pipes do sound deeper than before the mod.

Latest Dyno session with Hartge mod shows peak torque now around 400 fFTLb (stock figure quoted as 330) and max HP at 361 for my car. At the wheels this means a nice round figure of 300 useful ponies (up from 282)

But since it started with 360 fFtLb and 340 HP /before/ the mod the peak numbers don't do it justice really.

The best improvement is the change to the Torque curve with a lot more grunt in the lower revs now. See my post for the charts

Depends if you're Impressed with big numbers. I was hoping for 360+ HP and the Comfort setting not ruined. I got what I wanted plus a hell of a lot more torque in the bargain. It's a blast to drive and I can still sling the M Exhaust on it if I want to later.
