Nice try. It is actually rather scary to be a passenger around the Ring, and easy to get nauseous. The faster the car/driver, the worse it is. I even get a little dizzy myself as a driver at the bottom of Fuchsröhre...

Her first ever ride on a track and I wasn't really taking it slow. She was nauseous indeed! And holding on dear life. Should've talked her through a lot more, so she would have known what to expect.

The Ring is something special indeed. Funny how this driving affects us so differently. An Indian friend of mine was sick for a day after two laps - I tried reading the car manual while my friend was driving - no problems.

Car looks lowered - H&R springs?

KW V1. Should change to V3 and get some ARB's because there's a HUGE amount of body roll.

Is the V3 stiffer than V1? I thought it only added adjustabilty. I usually prefer less adjutable features, as it is very easy to get the setup all wrong.

I agree
It is better to have 'predictable' and work with it by means of a set up that suits your driving technique and the particular track.
Damping/suspension that is too stiff can cause reactive rebound.
This is where the suspension travel follows the full compression of the tyre instead of leading it. This reaction multiplies the rebound (suspension travel + tyre) speed causing rapid throw back.
This is particularly noticed on track with shoulder lips or dips that the driver is pushing hard onto to achieve a race line.
You see a lot of drivers becoming very unstuck when reactive rebound happens.

Do change. That should look better with your painted rims and grill frame as well as further emphasize the manifest of your addiction for black.

The only black I added to the car was the wheels. Who wants to be common and have silver wheels.

Well, I am most likely to go for the ARB's first as this is less of an investment with likely more result
I do understand your way of thinking and I'm not one who plays with the settings of his car every weekend... We'll see with the ARB's first.

Hi All!
Below my three year old F20 116i. Bought the wheels a few weeks ago.
On the mechanic side a coolant leak last month apart from normal maintenance.

Anyone got any tips on the missing fog lights? Pity they left the hole ...
Other then that: super happy with the car.

Store was still open, had a bunch of gear in the car and on the other side were still a lot of cars. Didn't want to risk anything.

Marks aren't even mine

Thanks
