I think every team now does a backpass on their PP breakout (realize...This was not the PP, and obviously where they went wrong). Babcock implemented this in Detroit years ago to break the blue line stacking and I think everyone else just followed in.

Totally hate this play...But it's amazing to see how much of a copycat league it's become.

I give a thumbs up to the Kings taking down the Ducks. Kings are going to have to step up there game for the stretch here or else we won't get to knock them out of the playoffs.

First one Stadium Series
Pittsburgh Penguins 4-2 Philadelphia Flyers .That was very good entertaining game , Pittsburgh Penguins took the lead and maintained the lead during the game . May be ambiance may be fans and penguins flocking at the corners to the field I liked that game a lot and one of the best part of the game was that players gave each other a hand shake that's something we rarely see in NHL during regular season
Secondly
Boston Bruins going well since they changed their coach ,they also won against Dallas Stars by 6-3 .It was a hockey game at it's best during 2nd period as we saw 4 goals in that period from each team scoring twice in a row .What made it so exciting was Dallas got the game tied up at 2 -2 but they couldn't do it any better
Thirdly Columbus Blue Jackets 7-0 New York Islanders 0 ,no joke I thought they could make 5-2 win but they exceeded my expectations , great job
Finally for now
New York Rangers won in overtime against New Jersey Devils 4-3 , first two goals came from Rangers but Devils bounced back and answered 3 goals to take the lead but Rangers showed their success wasn't a coincidence and got the tie at 3-3

Shattenkirk to the Caps...should make a nice addition to our PP. Caps are really going all in this year.

Giving up a 1st rounder and a 2nd rounder to the Blues. I'm sure St. Louis wanted a 3rd rounder as well but the term "3rd Round" confuses us Caps fans alongside the management and coaching staff.

Caps leading the lead and a likely Presidents trophy...not much new here. They have been a regular season force for years. I actually picked them to win it all in last year's nhl.com road to the cup game. They threw my whole tally off.

New York Rangers lost two games in a row at home as opposed to being the best road or away team .Former game was lost to Columbus Blue Jackets ,the latter was against Washington Capitals .They got the first goal but couldn't hinder 4 goals straight . There were some momentum changers such as off the bar puck when it was 1-0 ,disallowed goal when it was 1-1

Pittsburgh Penguins snapped their 2 period leading and hence win at the end of the game streak after they lost against Dallas Stars ,funny thing was that Pittsburgh Penguins got 2 goal insurance but Stars were stars of the game

Chicago Blackhawks won against Pittsburgh Penguins .Fleury was on the net and performed very well despite giving up 3 goals , the last goal was an empty net

When they say devils in details they have a good point in saying that .Well, for an untrained person what's about this axiom in hockey thread , it's however something to do with it . Last time Washington Capitals lost at home back in September was against New Jersey Devils at the end of shootout and their last game at home against New Jersey Devils and they managed to beat NJ Devils 1-0 and extending home winning streak to 14 frigging games
New York Rangers won against Boston Bruins at away or road game 2-1 .First two period was goalless and another detail for you to spot on .New York Ranger's the most scoring team at 3rd periods and this trait kept during that game against Boston as well .Lunqvist was great too
