Track day at Cadwell Park in the M135i

heres a vid from Cadwell park last week, nice to do one in the sun :-)
It was only half a day but I enjoyed it. The car is standard apart from some E46 M3 front wheels on and 245 x18 tyres all round which I got off ebay, Cadwell is alittle bit tight in places and has got a nice little jump at the mountain :-)
I was there with a friend in his CSL and we were pretty much circulatiing at the same pace, I did a lap with a vid with him sat in giving me grief that it looks like a shopper !!!

Great Vid, looks like a good track day. What caused your car to go into limp mode towards the end? Ive seen a few videos of these car's doing alot more track time than this and they have seemed fine - too hot maybe?

It was just that it was on low fuel,i think it just got a bit of fuel starvation.
i turned it off then on and it was fine

Nice track and nice driving. Seems better balanced with those front wheels.

Wow! That last pic is interesting. Getting air while driving uphill? There must be some interesting gradients on that track.

Curly. When you say "wider fronts". Do you mean tyres or are you running spacers?

No spacer's,they are on a 8" rims with 245-18 tyres front & rear,it give's the front a wider track.plus if your wearing the outside edges of the front tyres you can just move them to the back.

That raises a question for me, which may have been answered elsewhere, but is it possible to dial in any more negative camber into the front suspension set up? Looking at some of your pics, curly, it seems to me that would not go astray

Its on a standard Geo,there is no adjustment left as far as i can see,it needs camber plates. it would be a big help for tyre life and more front end grip,
but I just use it as a road car so i'm not to bothered at the mo.

Enjoyed the video a lot. Which tires are you on? PSS like the standard or changed tires with the wheels?
