F20 urban exterior trim on an SE - possible?

I was wanting to get a 1 series in the Urban Line trim but couldn't find one with the right spec / colour / optons etc, so ended up getting an SE model with the intention to put the white Urban trim on it - the white central finisher rod at the front, the white strip along the back bumper, the white 412 style wheels and the white mirror caps and of course the front grills.

However, now I have it I'm not sure the back strip or the front rod will be possible - can anyone advise?

I thought on the SE the back strip was just body coloured so I'd be able to take that one off and replace it with the white one, but now I see there is no strip on the SE; it's just a flat one-piece bumper moulding, so nothing to swap out. So can anyone let me know if the white strip on the rear bumper on the urban (or the black strip on the sport) is a separate strip or if it is a solid bumper like the SE, but just painted white? If it is a strip - how is it attached, by clips, or adhesive. If clips then it won't go on the SE - if adhesive then I guess I could try sticking it on the SE; happy days if so...fingers crossed!!

Now for the white finisher on the center bar at the front, below the grill and between the fogs - it's black in the sport, white on the urban and body coloured on the SE. When I've looked at the sport I'm sure it felt like a seperat piece, but on the SE it is just part of the bumper, no join or anything. Anyone know if I can just get the white urban finisher and slot that over the SE bar, or would it not be compatible? Does the urban /sport lines have a slightly different bumper design with a different bar/rod design, or are they the same?

Can anyone advise? The front grill and the caps and rims will be easy, but I've been on the phone to several BMW dealers and bodyshop specialists about the front and rear whiye bits with no luck - no one seems to know definitively....

I'm also thinking of putting the urban fog light finishers on the SE too (there's none on the SE) and not sure if these will attach or not - anyone know? I know the Urban does not have colour contrasting fog light finishers on but I like the idea so would like to try that out and see what it looks like.

Sorry for the ling (first) post; just hoping some of you guys on here with intimate knowledge will be able to help (moreso that BMW themselves!)

Cheers
(UK spec btw)

Most of the parts should be interchangeable, The cost of the parts could be an issue.
You could have those items vinyl wrapped.

Thanks for quick reply.

In terms of interchangeable, between the sport and urban models yes, but as I said, at the front of the SE model the bar is one piece continuous with the bumper but in the urban/sport it seems to be a separate piece. If it is just a cover piece that slots over the existing bar then great, but if on the sport/urban models it's an actual separate bar then it won't work. And for the rear, I'm pretty sure it's a strip that attaches on to the urban/sport models, but there is no equivalent body-coloured strip on the SE, its just a plain one piece bumper - so if the urban/sport strip is attached by clips then again it won't work on the SE as there is nowhere to clip it into.

So, I need to know whether the white urban/black sport front bar is a simple cover piece which is slotted over the existing bar, and whether the back strip is stuck on or clipped on. Can anyone confirm for sure either way. I've had some people from BMW saying it "should" work and some saying it "probably" won't - no one from BMW csn give me a definite answer so I'm looking for someone here who has an urban or sport that can have a look for me and can say yes or no and be sure - can anyone help?

In terms of the parts, I've already got quotes and it's all pretty reasonable, much less than I would have thought e.g. around 14 quid for the rear strip.

Also, I should have said, its a 2011, 61 plate 118d if that makes any difference.

Cheers

Thanks again. Yeah I've already found that and had a look. But it doesnt show how they are attached. Also it shows one bumper for the M sport and then a non M sport bumper, which implies the bumpers for the regular sport, urban and SE are the same, but I'm starting to think they are slightly different. What I now think is that I shoukd be able to slide the front finisher over the central rod/bar/diffuser bit, but I dont think the I'll be able to attach the rear strip. From what I can make out there is some kind of cut out or bevelled groove to receive the rear strip on the sport/urban which isn't present on the SE. Can anyone confirm?

In terms of the surrounds around the urban/sport fog lights, I think they would fit okay around the SE fog lights, but not 100% sure. Does anyone know how they clip on? Simple or a dealer job? Anyone have a link to a guide or anything like that?

Cheers

SwissT I have an urban line and am looking to swap out the urban line grill and alloy wheels and tyres if you are interested at all. The tyres are Bridgestone potenza's and near enough brand new with run flats.
