It all seems positive except for the point about the exhaust note. Although a 4 pot is never going to compare to a 6 pot in any case.

I'd be more interested to hear how the note compares to other 4 pots in this class, like the GTI which is referenced in the review.

Surely with the twin scroll turbo there will be some nice whistling going on??

If you go here:

Select 'Drivetrain' and 'Exhaust System' and scroll through the images using the '>|' button you can listen to the 125i exhaust with and without the M performance exhaust system.

V/nice Dubman, thx for the link. I didn't know there was an M performance exhaust system available. Anybody know how much they are fitted, post delivery of car?

Wadded, you can already the part price available under accessory section of national BMW website. If you click on "find accessory" it opens some scrolling menus. For the exhaust system I could see 750€.
Then for fit cost, you need to check with your dealer...

good review. I would expect it to be faster, bc that engine seems pretty potent. what's the curb weight on it?
