My 120d m sport which has 2600 miles on the clock currently says 10000 miles to next service. When I purchased the car it said 18000/19000 miles to next service. I understand that it is condition based but I have been driving it easy. The next service due seems to have dropped very quickly to 10000 miles considering I have only done 2600 miles. Can you please share your experiences.

What exactly is the service its requesting in 10k miles? Service as in checkup, as in oil, as in front/rear brakes..?

Mine has also been counting down fast, despite easy driving the first 2500 km. I like that, since I think 30000 km is far too long for the first service.

How do I find this out? I'm going off the message that comes up when the car is started?

I can only assume for the F20, but with the E87 you went into the computer -> service -> you could scroll from service to service, it showed/told you, whats next, whats up when..

If your next service is rear brakes, you might wanna give your dealer a visit, as there is a (more or less) known problem with the sensors there. People are reporting rear-brake-service due in ridiculously low miles, which always turned out to be a faulty number, because the pads were still fine.

Hi, Metric system here: my 118D asked for service at 25k KM, service interval should be 30k KM.
In 3 weeks he is going for big service at 50k KM, should also be 60k KM.

Thats what you get with all the 'sheer driving pleasure' :-)
