My M135i xDrive
Hi guys,
Already 500km in the new car since i've got it 5 days ago so it's time for some photos and comments. First photo when it got delivered at the dealer two weeks ago (thanks Racingboy for the photo). Last week it has been snowing in Belgium, so I'm really happy with the Pirelli Sottozero's on the 385 styling. Less happy about the not so white Alpin white, damn that dirty snow! In the interior i've got some M performance parts: steering wheel (without display/LED), trims and transmission lever. The alcantara fits perfectly with the standard hexagon seats. Still having some doubts if i should also fit the carbon/alcantara handbrake.. Too bad the center arm rest isn't available in alcantara... I already love the steering wheel: great feel, good grip and it doesn't feel as cold as the leather steering wheel in my X3. (Our cars stay outside and it was up to -12 last week.) There's enough space in the backseat for a maxicosi fitted on a familyfix with the passenger seat all the way back. I'd forgotten to test this before ordering... Driving is absolutely fantastic! Haven't been able to fully test it because of the snow and ice, but it is great. Now i remember why i was so excited after my test drive in october. Super fast acceleration and transmission in comfort and sport. My wife likes eco-pro more because she finds the throttle way to responsive! The variable sport steering takes some time to get used to, especially for (parallel) parking and sharp corners, but i'm starting to like it. When i was parking my car in town this weekend i saw three teenage boys pointing at my car and poking each other saying: wow dude, that's a m135i!! Never had that experience before |

Wow man, I can only confess that your car seems to be the summit of practical and social acceptable but real fun performance driving. Since my wife only accepts diesels as from now, I'll have to get some kind of satisfaction of seeing almost exactly the same car as yours (estoril blue) being delivered to a mate of mine within a couple of months.
I hope you feel long during satisfaction driving and owning this splendid vehicle, there really is no better these days... and long times to come. Last edited by KoenG; 01-21-2013 at 06:13 PM.. |

Very nice, especially so inside. These new alcantara/carbon bits look great. You should get the handbrake, pedals and mats too. You still can get of course.
