Safety Recall for 1 series

i own a 15 plate 120d m sport xdrive and on booking in for a service they informed me of a new recall which has just been released the recall is for the brake system of which when the clutch pedal is pressed can cause water to contaminate the brake fluid reservoir, they will be replacing the cowl panel and lid to prevent this from happening the recall is only just been issued roughly the last 2 weeks no letters have been sent out yet and unsure if all models are effected

Garage List
I have also received an email and my M235i is booked in for the end of the month, apparently 4 hours work not charged. I have an M3 arranged for extended test drive.

Hi, do you have by any chance (in the email) the reference for the recall or more specific details? Thank you in advance

yesterday i went in for the recall as well as service for both as well as a few things i asked to be looked at it took 2 hours for first service plus enhancement to the cowl panel has had some new design the image "flyaway" attached shows in the image part labeled 3 as a solid piece it now has a grid with lots of holes in also there was some other parts replaced but this was the most obvious my car has got to go back in in 2 weeks to deal with a rattle in the boot which they can't fix so i should should get all my paperwork what they did for the recall then i can attach an image if need to show the difference in part appearance

Hi All, my 2015 116i M sport went in last week for boot rattle and quality enhancement was already on the list of work to be done. A quick glance looks like they have replaced the end panels with vented panels to prevent water from building up. I didnt question much to find out exactly as the service reception didn't know what was to be done. Any how the boot rattle is not as bad as the lock has been adjusted and when the boot opens or should I say bursts open, not impressed but will monitor. Also had the wipers reprogrammed as they have a mind of their own, will try when it rains and as its a bank holiday weekend its a knocking bet. Cheers
