F21 wearing camouflage spotted in the UK

Hello,

I was just out getting lunch and much to my suprise, given I live in the rather dull surroundings of the Midlands in the UK, a white F21 wearing BMW's typical camouflage and baring european plates. The car was accompanied by a silver F10, both of which disappeared before I had chance to get my phone out to take some pictures.

The F21 only had camouflage over rear sections of the sides, there was no cladding visible, and as far as I could tell it was visually a standard sport package model. Twin exhaust tips on the left hand side.

I have seen Mini's and Land Rovers testing occasionally around these parts over the years, but never a BMW.

I would love to know what is was. SCOTT?

Hybrid?

It didn't have the usual warning sticker associated with hybrids, also didn't have any of the other Active Hybrid hallmarks.
