Sport vs M Sport Steering wheel
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com I like M sport just because of softer leather, but some people comment this is too thick to handle? Any comment on this? Last edited by playmobilboy; 04-02-2013 at 09:47 AM.. |

I've got a Coral Red interior with the M-Sport wheel and that soft leather makes a big difference in my opinion. Feels really nice!

I have also the M-Sport steering wheel. It's a very nice touch and I prefer large wheel. I feel more at ease.
If it is just for look, then the red stitch are great. |

I wouldn't mind having a slightly thinner steering wheel on our M-Sport car. I am not so impressed with the bumps either, above the thumbs. Don't see the point, really. But it is nice and soft and grippy. I like that. And it looks quite good as well.

For me hands down the M Sport. I really like the thicker rim and also the leather is much softer. To be honest, I do not like the feel of the Sport wheel, the leather is too coarse IMHO. When I rodered the car the M Sport was not available and did not want to wait for 5 months...now I am looking to replace it with the M Sport. I had the M Sport in my Z4 (retrofitted by myself) and it was so much better!

M Sport all the way for me too.
Softer leather, softer grip - only down side is that it marks quite easily |

My car comes with sport wheel, I tried the M Sport and feel too soft, now I have the M Performance which is the best out of the three.

As nordschleife said, you can keep the sport trim on the //M steering wheel, as they are the same design and fit.
