Wifey and I just got back from an 8 day trip to Colorado, and Wifey has to work on the 5th, so we're staying home. But other folks here must be be doing something cool. Tell me about it.

Yeah, unless you're in 'Murica, it's just another Saturday. I've been off since the 24th, so I'm enjoying my last two days of R&R before going back to work on Monday.

In the morning, a racetrack. A normal one with pavement.

In the evening my big mouth is going show why i do shit differently, but on a rally path. So tomorrow at this time, while you all are drunk, I am wrapping an imprezza to a tree a loaner might I admit. I'm banned by our family rules from anything rally related as bought cars.

Depending on the weather , the little boys and I will be going to their cousin's BBQ and then we'll head to Hoboken to watch the Macy's fireworks from the Jersey side

I got called into work because people are too cheap to buy me a single 50amp circuit to tie into the generator so I can keep the email servers up and running when Edison blows up a vault. Now they are paying at least 3 hours of OT holiday call-out THIS weekend.

(I'm waiting for the Windows updates to complete on the server after I restarted them.)

The economy must be doing better. Way more cash going up in smoke this year than in years past. Some serious fireworks being launched out of backyards in our neighborhood. This ain't cheap stuff. And lots of folks doing it.
