Damn, how often are you in town? I'm up near Raleigh, so about 2.25 hours north of Charlotte.

Billup, I made it into work fine (raleigh), leaving out for lunch was another story though haha, Michelin supersports and 500whp dont mix down here haha. Did you notice they didn't do shit to treat the roads though? ugh, the south is never prepared for weather.

Yeah my drive into work was fine, but some of the roads I take back home are slanted, so when I was breaking I just started sliding into the ditch. Had some trouble on a few hills, ended up leaving around 10am.

After I got home, I knew my lady friend wanted the D, so I got in my car and got on I-40, drove one mile and was like, FUCK THIS, and turned around and now I'm home again.

Even when they lay down the brine, I don't see it being effective enough as it is. Mostly because the people on the road are the bigger issue.

You're in Raleigh and we haven't gotten a beer? What gives?

I don't know man, whats up with that? I live in the Apex area. Yeah I'm stuck at work right now, surfing off topic... lol The roads look better now, so I might go try again, just worried about the back roads in Apex.

and no drive for the lady friend? whats up with THAT?

We'll have to get together one of these days and put a face to the name.

The main roads weren't terrible, the people driving were though. Back roads are a different story, looking at some of the side streets, you can see the wavy tire marks from someone either sliding down or sliding trying to go up.

No drive. She is an hour away when the roads are clear, about 70 miles. I was going 30mph on the freeway and decided I should use better judgement and just wait it out. Which sucks, I need to get it in.

Winter is a stale season. I don't care to venture out. I'd rather wait until it warms up enough to go around town and shit.

I'm becoming a damn Southerner.

Actually, looking at the road cameras, I can probably make the drive, they look like they're in better shape now.

Was advised to stay home today due to weather. Relized no beer in house. Made trip to grocery store which was packed beyond belief.

Think who ever was running the bottle labeler had a few himself.

I'm just tired of praying that it gets to 35 and ready to see green. Driving in snow, no big deal. If you live north, you have figured that out.

It was 85 degrees with crystal clear skies when I went to bed last night; this morning -7.

Major temp swings suck. Leaving your vacation site to come back to this crap is worse With that, I had 6 inches of snow and ice to scrape off the BMW at the airport, while still wearing shorts.

Supposed to get 2-6'' of snow tomorrow here in NC. Which means, working from home again. 3 days in a row feels good. All out of beer though.

I'm in Apex/Cary. I picked up some Alpin PA4's in Nov and have been dying to try them in snow!!

I drove out yesterday at 8:30 to drop the kids off at school/daycare only to have them announce they're closing at noon. So I went out again at 11:30 to pick them up.

Didn't have any major issues. Some slippage here and there. I was mostly afraid of people sliding and hitting me. There were a few people that were stupid and slid right into the intersection thou.

Can't wait to see this 2-6"!
